The Debut PRO uses Pro-Ject’s familiar rectangular plinth layout in a restrained black satin finish. It is not designed to look flamboyant, but the hand-finished appearance and nickel-coloured metal details give it a more substantial feel than simpler entry-level decks.

Construction is based around a rigid, unsuspended plinth with belt drive and electronic speed control. The platter is a 300 mm die-cast aluminium design with internal TPE damping, and its anti-magnetic construction is useful if the owner later considers compatible moving-coil cartridge upgrades.
